Back in Thyme is commited to products that contain only sustainably grow herbs and recycled materials. On this page, you will find how we keep our products friendly to the environment.

Recycling- All Back in Thyme products that contain fabric, like thin any Back in Thyme products.
Companion planting- This is the idea of enhancing the growth and development of Back in Thyme's herbs by planting plants beneficial to soil or detrimental to pests in the garden. This allowes us to avoid using artificial fertalizers or pesticides in our gardens.
Compost- To facilitate quality and timely herb harvests, Back in Thyme uses a special compost used to grow mushrooms in their Lavendar fields. Unlike artificial fertalizers, which contain phosphates toxic to all water bound animals, all ingredients of this compost are natural, and do not contaminate the watershed or the environment.
Organic Essential Oils- All essential oils used in Back in Thyme's products come from Mountainrose Herbs, a USDA certified organic, fair trade certified essential oil manufacturer.
The lavendar bunnies and Lavendar Handbags, are made of recycled fabric. Back in Thyme Employees find Garage and Estate sales where fabric is being sold and save it from going to the landfill. All fabric is washed thoroughly before being put into a product.
